The inhabitants of Salamansa, have slowly seen their home being transformed by globalisation. There’s an ongoing construction of a resort and the village’s oncefamous dunes are disappearing, eroded by illegal sand extractions to feed the island’s housing developments. There’s another change happening with a more profound impact on the lives of the villagers, the realization that there’s drastically less fish in the seas. Within this changing landscape, we follow the journey of Titoy, 90, the village’s oldest active fisherman.
