Project Development Workshop

Afrolatam is a workshop and pitching session aimed at filmmakers from Africa and Latin America with documentary film projects in the pre-production or production stages that address themes related to these geographic areas. It is open to non-fiction feature-length films.

This workshop is also conceived as a meeting point for building collaborative and working relationships that go beyond merely economic interests.

It is coordinated by Claudia Rodriguez, who specializes in audiovisual project design and development, as well as in the acquisition and sales of audiovisual content at the international level. With over 10 years’ experience in international relations and in content distribution (mainly in the fields of documentary and animation), Rodriguez has worked in project selection and has served as a jury member in markets, festivals, and national funds around the world.
