Tras diez años en Alemania, Daniel, regresa a su isla natal, Gran Canaria, para mediar en la venta de una finca entre unos inversores alemanes —a quienes debe dinero— y Siberiano, un viejo agricultor en el ocaso de su vida.
A su regreso, empieza a percibir los profundos cambios que ha sufrido la isla durante su ausencia: el turismo de masas ha transformado el paisaje y exprimido hasta el límite los recursos del territorio; con ello, la identidad de su tierra se desvanece Y Daniel comienza a redescubrir su hogar a través de una tradición en un viaje entre el cuerpo y el paisaje.
After ten years in Germany, Daniel returns to his home island of Gran Canaria to mediate the sale of a piece of land between a group of German investors —to whom he owes money— and Siberiano, an old farmer in the twilight of his life.
Upon his return, he begins to perceive the profound changes the island has undergone during his absence: mass tourism has transformed the landscape and exhausted the territory’s resources; as a result, the island’s identity is fading away. Daniel begins to rediscover his home through a tradition, embarking on a journey between body and landscape.
